Looking ahead & behind

My flight to London is now pushed forward to the 31st of March.
Everything is coming together nicely for this next tour.

It looks like London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Vienna, Bologna, and finally back to London.
Hmm, it seems to be a lot in text, but it's works on the calendar I'm looking at.

I was in Glasgow shooting with Azrelle all day during my last visit to Scotland.
I liked Glagow - can't wait to revisit!

So then, me in a bunch of HW latex (tho the catsuit is actually from [info]vex_clothing )

and another with not so much latex
thanks [info]mrstocking for the nylon ;)

Cyborg

Finally back from my adventures around Europe and having a rest in London! I have so many pics from Barcelona, Rome and Italy but I'm still going through resizing everything so far now I thought I'd just share this new pic. It was mostly a test shoot but I think it's rather cool :)

The armour is by Maunel Albarran, whose workshop I was lucky enough to visit briefly while I was in Barcelona. Ended up carrying a whole box of his amazing stuff back in my hand luggage for shooting. Very surprised the airport security didn't ask to search my bag!

Early in the year [info]gothindugence, Polstar and I took a few models along to the sadly now defunct Madame Zingara.

Most of the shots have been shown here, but I've not shown the shots of [info]frozen_amaranth

shouldve couldve wouldve

i should be in london by now
this evening i should have been on a 7pm flight to heathrow
but
due to work issues, the better choice was for me to remain here, in the US.
regardless, i was planning to head back around the end of march/early april.

this evening at the Nuthouse, someone told me that perhaps it was because i needed to stay, for some reason. or rather, i was meant to stay.

i don't know. there were things i wanted to do that would've been fun once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
but also, i wanted to be in london to see [info]madmaxtattoo 's wedding
and i wanted to give [info]cyka a big ass hug (and spanking)

i need to look at this stay as a good ting. and take full advantage of the time with my family.

plus, my last stay here dd do one thing i never thought would occur: i realized how great Cali really is.

lol
ok. ZZ time.
tomorrow i can post moblog and travel histories so i wont frikken forgoet!

any testimonials or warnings?

any help would be appreciated.

12” Black busk needed for Tuesday

Can anyone advise where I might be able to order a 12" black busk and have it shipper to me for Tuesday. I ordered one from Vena Cava last Sunday and the order arrived today with a note on the busk of to follow. I am quite annoyed as if they had let me know sooner I could have made the front without a busk at the front. So I am now frantically searching for a black bulk and not finding anywhere that sells them. I am in the UK so it would need to be a UK seller or it won’t get to me in time.

"Nephilim", "Distorted Dreams One", "Orphans of the Storm" and "Divine Oblivion"

Over the next three weeks I'll be sharing my last images of 2009, before I wrap things up for Christmas and start planning for the New Year.  My "Distorted Dreams" shoot featured [info]thevioletraven and Sarah-in-Tortureland alongside [info]etoile_violet and new male model Lars Wickett.  Lars works as one of the sound engineers at the studio where I now shoot, so he was useful addition to the team and he wasn't a bad model either!  The shoot itself started with a theme influenced by one of my favourite painters, the Italian artist Luis Royo.  We took elements of his work, like the tattoos and the sexual chemistry and mixed it up a little, so I'm not sure how much of the original theme is left in the final images!  Still, that is what making art is all about and I'm pleased with what we've created!

This coming weekend is my 1940's influenced "Cyanide Cheescake" shoot which will be the very last shoot of the year and will be my first images to get posted in 2010 and feature my new Declinegothica logo.  So more on that on Sunday.

Tales of Terror

I found a delightful little book by an author called Chris Priestley in the library today. The illustrations are by David Roberts, and you can't help but see elements of Edward Gorey and Tim Burton in his work. The book features short macabre tales wound around a larger narrative and I was hooked. Sufficiently spooky but not too grisly - I spent tonight hiding from the Autumn cold, instead curled up with this spine-chilling book. A roaring fire would have been a welcome addition to the stories I read tonight...
