Oooh I have just had my lip peirced.......after all that winging I did ... It didnt hurt a bit.. but the guy who did it put it in to a slant...but you cant really tell... but now I'm thinking of having a really personal part peirced hmmm.....

TK's birthday night out on Friday...I cant wait... Andy Dendy and Jayne WK babe are over too woo!! I am expecting a sore neck in the morning hehehe!

And next Friday...Off to see Dimmu Borgir with Lamb of God supporting them....woo!

The weekend after we are going to see Alestorm.. yay to Pirate metal!

Oooh went to see a band called Godsized in York with my friend Paul.. bloody awesome! and think everyone should check them out...

Anyhow, its thamiel_kain  's birthday soon so a bunch of us are going to The Grand Central Pub & Jilly's Rockworld in Manchester....well because Hull is pure and utter shite :s So if anyone os around Manchester on that night feel free to pop in :) It's an allnighter so were starting to drink at around 6pm then Jilly's closes around 7am :)

Also were possibly off to Leeds to celebrate my birthday early april....gowd il be 27.......:s ...hellish!

OoOOER I'm off to see Dimmu Borgir & Lamb of God in Feb too with Paul (Siguror) ...windmill head ready lol

Hmmmm so ive only just got round to this as ive been so knackered :(

Set off on Thursday afternoon to Derby..... got there and realised Bloodstock Catton Hall isnt actually in Derby hehe ...good start

Got there, got dropped off by Katie and Paul while they went to pick up Ed and Jonesy ...... no sooner than that is started pissing down...i mean pissing down :( and gues who left her brolly in the car ........ mudslides ahoy!

So over an hour of waiting in the queue we finally get our wristbands and get a nice camp spot in the far camp site (the best one). Then i met up with Sam and Dave, lovely peeps!

FRIDAY


Was my first time seeing Akercocke and omg did they rock!!!!!!
Soulfly - awesome - but gutted Max didnt go to the signing tent - i did sulk for a few hours
Tyr - Awesome!!
Helloween - Oh my god, they were brilliant, the sound, the stage presence, everything!!!!

 

SAT

Soilwork - people were saying how good these were , personally i was dissapointed and though they were a bit too nu metal.
Dimmu Borgir - Hell yeah, the pyros were fab, and they sounded pretty cool


SUNDAY

Heavens Basement - they were brill, they should have got a late spot instead of being first on. It was my second time seeing them and they sounded much better.

NIGHTWISH!!!!! YAY i was waiting all weekend for this and they didnt dissappoint!!!! I got right at the front in front of Tuomas keyboard yayness!!! and Marco came about 1 metre in front of me rocking out...omg!!!!
They sounded great, the pyros were the best at the festival... and if it wasnt for AT THE GATES they would have played a little longer, but AT THE GATES decided to extend their set before Nightwish came on...tits! and oh Nightwish didnt go to the signing tent either, which was poo


I did see a lot more bands but those were the best out of the bunch.


Things i remember:

A random chav outside our tent streaking (grim)
Someone shitting in Jonesys tent and then the tent disappearing
A guy dressed as a school girl ( it was the strangest sight)
Sam learning the "joke about the German gestarpo" and slapping random people till she got it right
The horrid toilets :(
Seeing Tuomas from Nightwish - yes i screamed like a 14 year old girl at a Westlife concert
A band called Evil Scarecrow doing the robot dance ( you gotta youtube it)
A random dude doing anything for beer
